Clamped it to my desk shelf and now my iPad floats right at eye level for sketching, no more craning my neck. The arm is stiffer than I expected in a good way, so it doesn't droop when I tap the screen. The weighted base is sitting unused in a drawer, but the clamp option alone was worth it.
